Atompi Academy® materials, platform content and marketing

1. Ownership and protection

Unless stated otherwise, Atompi Academy® owns, or is licensed to use, the intellectual property rights in its original materials and content. Copyright protection arises automatically in qualifying original works. This notice governs use of those works; it does not transfer ownership.

2. What this notice covers

Protected Atompi content includes original material in any format, whether supplied publicly, privately, live, recorded, printed or digitally, including:

live and recorded lessons, lesson extracts, explanations, demonstrations, transcripts and teacher commentary;

worksheets, workbooks, investigations, case studies, questions, model answers, diagrams, illustrations, assessments, quizzes, feedback and portal content;

curriculum structures, written frameworks, teaching sequences, prompts, terminology and the original expression and arrangement of Atompi’s teaching methods;

website and funnel copy, landing pages, programme descriptions, adverts, email campaigns, lead magnets, social-media captions, posts, graphics and campaign concepts as expressed in Atompi content;

original photographs, videos, audio, designs, layouts, visual assets, brand materials and promotional resources; and

compilations, selections, arrangements, databases and other original combinations of Atompi content.

Copyright protects the original expression of ideas, not an idea, fact, chemical principle or teaching concept in isolation. Third-party content, including examination-board questions, specifications, marks and other licensed material, remains the property of its respective owner.

3. Registered trade mark

Atompi Academy® is a registered trade mark. The Atompi Academy® name, registered mark and associated brand identifiers must not be used in a way that suggests authorisation, endorsement, affiliation or ownership without prior written permission. Other programme or method names may also be protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

4. Permitted use

Personal study licence

Enrolled students may view and use the resources made available to them solely for their own private, non-commercial study during the period of access provided by Atompi Academy®. This is a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable permission. Ownership is not transferred.

Students may download or print a reasonable number of copies where Atompi has enabled that function, solely for their own study. Parents may view materials as reasonably necessary to support their enrolled child. Any copyright notice, watermark, logo, attribution or access control must remain intact.

5. Prohibited use

Unless Carol Paddon gives prior written permission, you must not:

copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, forward, lend, upload, broadcast, display publicly or make Atompi content available to another person;

share portal links, login details, downloads, screenshots, screen recordings, lesson recordings or copies with another student, tutor, teacher, school, business or online group;

adapt, translate, edit, extract, rebrand or create derivative teaching, tutoring, training or marketing resources from Atompi content;

remove or obscure a logo, watermark, copyright notice, trade-mark symbol, authorship statement or other rights-management information;

use Atompi content, marketing or branding for commercial purposes, competitor research, service imitation, advertising or promotion;

upload Atompi lessons, questions, recordings, worksheets, marketing, methods or frameworks to an artificial-intelligence system, dataset, chatbot, file-sharing service or other third-party platform;

use Atompi content for AI training, machine learning, text or data mining, automated analysis, prompt libraries, retrieval systems or the generation of substitute or competing resources; or

circumvent access controls, attempt to extract portal content in bulk or permit another person to use your access.

6. Student work and lesson participation

Students retain rights they may have in their own original work. Atompi retains rights in its questions, teaching materials, feedback, annotations, model responses and the selection or arrangement of lesson content. Participation in a lesson does not give a student or parent ownership of the lesson, recording or Atompi materials.

7. Public marketing and social media

Public availability does not mean that Atompi marketing is free to copy. You may share an unaltered Atompi post using the platform’s normal sharing function where the original account and attribution remain visible. You may not download, repost, reproduce, adapt, imitate or use Atompi’s original copy, graphics, photographs, videos, campaign materials or substantial parts of them for another account, website, business, course or service without written permission.

8. Suspension, removal and enforcement

If these terms are breached, Atompi may suspend or withdraw access, require infringing copies to be returned or permanently deleted, request removal from a website, social platform, AI service or other system, and take appropriate legal action. Nothing in this notice limits rights or permitted uses that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK copyright law.

9. Permission and reporting concerns

To request permission, report suspected infringement or ask whether a proposed use is allowed, email [email protected]. Permission is valid only when confirmed in writing by Carol Paddon and may be subject to stated conditions.
